My love affair with the camera and the visual image began in a beginning photojournalism class at the University of Missouri. Within a year, I made the decision to make photojournalism my career, a decision I have embraced ever since.
I earned a Master of Arts degree, concentrating in photojournalism, from Mizzou, with photojournalism legend, Angus MacDougall, chairing my masters’ project.
Shooting images has taken me to daily newspapers, lifestyle magazines, industry, and telling stories in pictures about daily life – news, business, sports, travel destinations, lifestyle, foods, social issues, the worlds of celebrity, horse shows, and much more.
I use my camera to “see” beneath the familiar and capture the unexpected, while using my eyes and heart, create images that connect to the viewer emotionally.
I look forward to creating images to tell your story.
